2019 Election: Bukola, Atiku favour to pick PDP’s Presidential Ticket, to Secure Maximum Delegates from Own States


As the People’s Democratic Party’s delegates converge on Port-Harcourt, Rivers State Capital, tomorrow, for the choice of Presidential candidate, Infoprations’ Analysis reveals that Senator Bukola Saraki, the Senate President, and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, are most likely to win the party’s ticket. Infoprations’ Popularity Analysis indicates that people have sought knowledge on the two aspirants more than Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso, Gombe State’s Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo and Sokoto State’s Governor Aminu Tambuwal in the last 7 days.
Senator Bukola Saraki was popular by 9,353 popularity index within the period while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s index was 5,008. Senator Kwankwanso closely followed Alhaji Atiku by 3,770 index while Governor Aminu Tambuwal had 1,488 popularity index. Analysis further establishes that two popular candidates would get maximum delegates from their respective states. Senator Saraki is expected to get maximum delegates from his state, Kwara, more than Alhaji Atiku, who is expected to garner highest delegates from Adamawa State.
From the 30 States analysed by the Infoprations, Senator Saraki is favoured to have the votes of delegates from 23 States while delegates from 4 States would cast their votes for the former Vice President. Senator Kwankwanso and Governor Aminu Tambuwal would get maximum votes from 2 and 1 States respectively, analysis suggests.
