Prices of Bitcoin, Fashion, Electronics Products Occupy Nigerians, Others’ Minds Ahead of Weekend’s Shopping

From the Infoprations’ Trending Analysis, it has emerged that Nigerians and other nationals living in the country have searched prices of Bitcoin, fashion and electronics products ahead of the weekend’s shopping activities expected throughout the country from Saturday.

Analysis shows that Bitcoin, Hot 6 and PS4 mobile phones, LG Home Theater and Hublot Wristwatch were searched from 11:46 am on 18th October, 2018 to 11:46 am on 19th October, 2018.  

It was further discovered that Hot 6 mobile phone had 187 million results when it was searched using “Hot 6 in Nigeria”, the highest of the search indexes examined. The search results were generated within 0.53 seconds. “Bitcoin in Nigeria” followed “Hot 6 in Nigeria” having shown a total of 16,900,000 results within 0.44 seconds. Analysis equally reveals that “PS4 in Nigeria” search led to 6,200,000 million results within 0.49 seconds.

Analysis reveals that Kogi, Oyo, Sokoto, Niger, Kwara, Rivers, Ondo, Borno, Kano, Abia, Nasarawa, Zamfara, Delta, Ogun, Benue, Osun, Imo, Edo, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Ekiti, Abuja, Gombe, Lagos, Taraba, Anambra, Bayelsa, Kaduna, Cross River and Plateau states were the top locations where price interest grew mostly in the last 24 hours. This indicates that Nigerians and other nationals in these states are likely to purchase the products.

These insights have established that businesses that offer the products need to have a sophisticated negotiation system that would help in wooing prospective buyers (who searched the Internet with the intent of comparing prices in the last 24 hours).
