Aregbesola further keys into Infoprations’ prediction ahead of governorship election, releases N500m to LAUTECH

As voters in Osun State prepare for the September 22 governorship election, Governor Rauf Aregbesola has further pay attention to Infoprations’ prediction that the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, is most likely to lose the election to the oppositions if he failed to prioritise workers’ welfare in the State.
Information has it that the state government has released N500 million to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, jointly owned by Osun and Oyo States. In the last two years, the Institution has been experiencing various crises, ranging from fund paucity to the two state governments’ failure to ensure adequate welfare package for the workers.
The neglect led to accusations and counter-accusations from concerned stakeholders in the two States and across the country. In August, the Academic Staff Union of Universities believed that Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Abiola Ajimobi did not mean well for the school.
Meanwhile, Infoprations considers the Governor’s gesture as one of the techniques that would swing votes to All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola on September 22.
