A few hours ago, Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate for the 2019
Presidential election in Nigeria, started his campaign with a policy plan
launch through social media. According to him, Nigeria needs to work again. The
plan, dubbed “The Atiku Plan” has attracted mixed reactions from the citizens
and public analysts, saying
he has not really been categorical on whether or not he will spend one term in
office.
Meanwhile, Infoprations’
analysis indicates that Alhaji Atiku’s address to Nigerians was laced with joy
and sadness. Analysis suggests that the speech was embedded with words, phrases
and sentences having 60% joy and 54% sad coloration.
“It is my desire to run for the office of the president of Nigeria. My
plan will reduce maternal mortality and care for the elderly. The sad, fact today, is that too many of our people
are not working. Above all, my plan will help create jobs.

If elected president, I will be proactive in attracting investment and
supporting small and medium scale enterprises. I plan to double our GDP to N900
billion by 2025. These investments will create a minimum of 2.5 million jobs
annually and lift at least 50 million people from poverty in the first two
years.
Without jobs, there would be crime, drug use
and insecurity. We have never been so divided as
a nation. I am here to restructure the polity and get Nigeria
working again.”
Atiku Abubakar GCON is
