By 8am today, electorate in Ekiti State will be at various polling units to elect a
new chief executive for the state. Pre-election days were characterised with uncertainties,
which
heightened stakeholders’ concerns on the possibility of having free and fair
process during the election.
From 6am
to 7am today, Nigerians’ interest on security was high than on the Independent
National Electoral Commission. This shows that, as the election starts by 8am, people
across the country are setting their eyes on what the security situation could
be during the election.
