EKITI 2018: Nigerians recognise Olusola Eleka, PDP’s candidate, ahead of tomorrow's election


As Ekiti state’s electorate line up at various polling stations tomorrow, Professor Olusola Eleka, the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate is gaining share of search in Nigeria. Trending analysis conducted by Infoprations indicates that the people’s interest in the candidate has reached 2,041 against the previous interest in which Chief Ayo Fayose, the incumbent governor, dominated the search interest along with Dr Kayode Fayemi, the All Progressive Congress’s candidate.

As at the time of writing the findings of the analysis, Lere Olayinka, Special Adviser to Chief Ayo Fayose on New Media and Public Communications, is being considered along with the PDP’s candidate search. Lere Olayinka as a term has attained breakout point, surpassing less than 5,000% threshold of the term trending.
Despite the evolving interest in the PDP’s candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi still led the search. In the last 24 hours, he had 65% of the 100% while the Olusola Eleka obtained 35%.
