Osun 2018: The possible spoils of victory for Oyetola, Adeleke as voters go to the polls

As voters go to the polls in the next 2 days in Osun State to elect the new Chief Executive Officer, the candidates of All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party need to prove to the voters that being a ‘foreign politician’, having relationship with the National leader, a family member sponsorship and poor educational status would not have significant impact on governance. Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress still have 2 days to inform Osun people that when elected he would not favour politicians from the Lagos. He needs to inform Osun people that when elected he would not share the State’s Treasury with his associates in the State and beyond.  He needs to inform Osun people that he will not favour some sections of the State and spend public funds on projects without direct benefits on the citizens.
Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke needs to prove his critics wrong that being a Secondary School Certificate holder does not mean he would not govern the State well. He needs to convince the electorate that with the school certificate he understands practical of public administration that would help him actualizing his agenda He needs to inform Osun people that being a member of Adeleke’s family dynasty would not translate to governing the State using family apparatus and favouring some sections of the State.
