2018 Ramadan: Muslims go to Eid tomorrow

Various reports have indicated that the new moon has been sighted in some countries, signifying end of Ramadan and commencement of another month for the Muslims throughout the world. Report has it that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkey and Malaysia have announced an end to this year’s Ramadan fast few hours ago. The countries have therefore fixed Friday as the first day of Eid-el-Fitr 1439, the report said. According to the report, the moon was not sighted in India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia, which means that Eid will be celebrated on Saturday, June 16.
