DO-IT-YOURSELF ON THE INTERNET: 42% of Nigerians’ searches were on how to kiss a girl in the last 24 hours


Infoprations’ trending analysis has revealed that Nigerians who have access to the Internet in the last 24 hours deployed it towards understanding how to make or produce certain things. Analysis also shows that Nigerians sought knowledge on how to kiss during the period.

Infoprations found how to make, how to make money, how to hack, how to make money online, how to make love, how to make cake, how much is dollar to naira, how to check Glo data, how to check Glo balance, how to write application letter, how to check BVN, how to kiss, how to get pregnant, how to check Glo data balance, how to makeup, how to tie Gele, how to make up, how to check MTN data balance, how to toast a girl, how to cook stew, how to prepare stew, how to make pepper soup, how to check diamond bank account balance, how to change Facebook name and  how to subscribe on Airtel as the top related queries to “how to…” searched by Nigerians.
When the related queries were aggregated, analysis reveals wealth creation, crime, love making, food production, understanding currency, telecoms services, banking services, dress, social media and employment knowledge as the categories of knowledge Nigerians sought.
Analysis further indicates that Osun, Ebonyi, Oyo, Ogun, Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Enugu were the states with the highest interest in “how to…” search term. The least states were Zamfara, Jigawa, Katsina, Borno, Kebbi, Lagos, Yobe, FCT, Gombe and Sokoto.
Infoprations observes that the high search interest in how to kiss could be linked to the expected social activities, especially love making among the youths that characterized weekends in Nigeria.
