Again, Nigeria’s inflation increases by 0.05% in September

A new report on inflation in Nigeria shows that the country’s inflation rate increased by 0.05%, putting the current rate at 11.28% against 11.23% recorded in August, 2018.
According to the report, “increases were recorded in all COICOP divisions that yielded the Headline index. On month-on-month basis, the Headline index increased by 0.84 percent in September 2018, down by 0.21 percent points from the rate recorded in August 2018 (1.05) percent.” 
“The percentage change in the average composite price index for the twelve months period ending September 2018 over the average of the CPI for the previous twelve months period was 13.16 percent, showing 0.39 percent point from 13.55 percent recorded in August 2018.
