In the next few days, Nigerians and
other nationals residing in the country would be going for holidays in various
places. The expectation is that the state and federal governments would announce
holiday break for the celebration of Christmas and New Year.
As people prepare for the celebrations,
the management of Damos Filling Station, located at Akingbile after the
International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), has advised transporters
and car owners to be cautious of adulterated products as they purchase Premium
Motor Spirit and Diesel for their buses and cars during the Yuletide.

According to Raji Saheed, the Business
Development Manager of the Station, buying adulterated petroleum and diesel would
increase maintenance cost, lead to frequent breakdown and result in reduction
in life span of parts and replacement.
“At our station, we ensure rigorous
testing of petroleum and gas products being sold to buyers because we know the
consequences of selling poor products on our image and potential damages to the
buyers’ machines.” He added that buyers are assured of quality products at
Damos Filling Station for efficiency and sustainability of their machines.
