Osun Skillup 2020: Our Co-Founder’s Presentation is Ready, Discovers Reasons for Gaps in Skilling Youths Up

With the less than 8 days to the much publicised first issue-driven youth skill up programme in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, Mutiu Iyanda, our co-founder has finalised his presentation for the event. In the earlier post, we reported that the presentation has been titled “Discovering Opportunities in Red and Blue Oceans: Strategies and Tactics for the Youth”.

After several days of scoping data and analysing various sides of human capacity development in the state, he has discovered several reasons for lack of sustainable skills transfer by the concerned stakeholders and acquisition by the youths. He discovered issues within the stakeholder and youth sides. He is expected to share the latest insights on skill development and acquisition, garnered in the course of his research, with the participants.
