In
the next two days, Nigeria will have the cause to flashback to her management
of COVID-19. On February 27, 2020, the country recorded her first case of the
virus in Lagos, which has been the epicentre of the virus since the day. With
the number of cases and deaths reported so far, Kano State is following Lagos
State in terms of states the virus has been affected badly.
Here
are the infographics that indicate Nigeria’s emerging data on the virus in
relation to Africa and Global’s data. From the data, it emerges that Nigeria is
having less percent of the Africa and Global’s data. This does not mean that
the country is doing well because experts and public affairs analysts have hinted
and still reiterating that the country’s testing capacity is low compared with
what is obtainable in some African countries and others in the developed world
such as America, Europe and some countries in Asia continent.
