Infoprations’ Trending Analysis indicates that Nigerians were more
concerned about climate change than global warming from January 7 to September 16,
2018. Specific knowledge was sought on each concept, on the need to understand
them, their causes and impacts on society during the period. Analysis shows
that Nigerians had significant interest in climate change between March 4 and
March 10, 2018 while interest in global warming grew between September 16 and
September 22, 2018.

These insights indicate that concerned stakeholders and governments need to create awareness about the two global issues. The states where people developed interest in the two issues need knowledge and programme interventions towards addressing their concerns.
