Mixed
reactions have been trailing Senator Dino Melaye’s tweet that announced he has
regained freedom after he was ‘kidnapped by unidentified persons’ on Thursday.

escape “another dangerous attack” through the prayers of his supporters across
the country.
In the
last few minutes, the tweet has generated over 800 comments and more than 1,000
shares. One of the commenters on Facebook who reacted to the report said: “Politicians really
believe that people are idiots and would believe anything. To avoid attending
the court, this attention seeking man chose to stage a kidnapping scenario.”
Another
commenter who believed that the lawmaker was actually kidnapped said: “Thank
God for your life may God keep protecting you IJN, Amen.”
